Fresh off the Plane (Day Two)

So it is officially my second day in Sydney, and things are going well so far. Today I went to Bondi Beach, which is absoultely breathtaking. There are a whole bunch of beaches along the coast that you can walk along on this path. There is a really cool art event that is going on as well. Along the walk way there are a whole bunch of really nice abstract art exhibits, that blend in with the scenery. My favourite was this mini tennis court thing on a hill. There are a whole bunch of beach houses by there and as your walking you hear this crazy grunting (sounding quite the scandal)...So I giggled with a bunch of strangers, as we all looked around in confusment. Anyways when you get up to the top of the stairs you realize that it was a speaker making the monkey sex noises that went with the tennis court theme...(pretty cute stuff). It wasn't too sunny today, but I jumped in the ocean anyways. The water is not that bad once you are in, and the waves are crazy fun. I had such a blast being on the beach, I need to start making some vollyball/badminton friends very soon or something.

So I took yesterday and today to get used to my surroundings, and explore things at my own pace. I've met some other travellers/locals along the way, all of whom were very pleasant and nice. My orrientation with IEP is tomorow, which I am looking forward to. I have really enjoyed talking to some strangers here and there, window shopping, and wandering. However I really want to meet some other people that want roomates/etc. Hostels are great and all but I still feel a little like everything is in disaray. I need to come up with a system to keep my stuff nice and organized. I want to throw my crappy bag out a window...haha the zipper is getting wonky...uhmmm anywaysssss...............

I'm looking forward to getting settled to a point though. I just want a home base to drop off my stuff (perferably by the beach)....I'm sure I'll meet a lot of people in the same boat as me tomorow @ orrientation so I need not worry...I think I'm just feeling a little squeemish because I'm inbetween whatever it is that I am doing right now.

Anyways I'm gonna jet now...but that is my story of day two

P.S. I don't have any offficial pics uploaded from my camera yet, but I did grab a picture of the part of the beach I spent most of my time at...Enjoy
