I went with my flat mate to feed the ducks it was a delightful afternoon. There was a vast variety of ducks and annoying seagulls. The duck right up front was so friendly I was a little scared. I was sitting down and he just chilled beside me looking sad when all my bread was gone. It was a very windy day so windy in fact that sometimes you wouldn't hear what someone was saying because of it.

Hello and Happy Sunday (Saturday in Canada)....

So a quick update on life goes as such

1)I'm a Barista as of Tuesday (I have to go back to coffee school though uhhh) I have about 16 hours of coffee school and ideally will have a few shifts over the weekend and such. I suppose my file didn't say terrible things about me. The manager said I should feel special and that I sparkled like a star in my interview...haha (awe blush)

2)I'm going to do some cheesy promotions for a travel comp. (supposed to @ least). I just have to tell people that there is free Internet upstairs in the store and give them rubber bracelets bla bla....The pay is in credit so I get to use it towards my next travels. I think of it as a piggy bank, if I do it for about 6 hours a week for the next two months then I will have my trip paid for (and maybe some discounts too we will see)...

Those are the big things I suppose...The weather has been garbage over the weekend. Real cloudy and windy, I was hoping to barbie some chicken and Kangaroo @ the beach today but no such luck it's not a nice day @ all....Oh well there will always be other days.

I'm real glad to start working though. Unless you want to CONSTANTLY spend money in Sydney you really have to work. Everything costs money and three weeks without working makes my idle hands very happy to work. It will be cool working with other Aussies and backpackers too...I enjoy working...I'll probably be one of those bull headed people that will never retire, and direct traffic for school kids, and swap recipe ideas for tuna salad with Moms when I'm 64 or something....Anyways that's enough blabbering....I guess I have written the highlights of job changes...The rest is all pretty typical Sydney stuff...I went to the aquarium yesterday afternoon with Rebecca, that was a nice lady date. The best part was the platypus, and the penguins. The penguins reminded me of watching March of the Penguins with my Mom and Dad and I felt all warm and sentimental...aweeee I'm a big cheese head....Bye now
