Hello world

So if life were a car I would definetely be a Volkswagon Cabrio (Green of course), cruising down the auto baun @ a upper-semi reasonable speed.

I have been a productive young woman and finally activated my credit card and applied for my NZ visa......I"m super stoked and should hear back shortly, when I applied it said there were visas left so there wont be any reason I wont get it. My excitement is growing like a fire being stoked by a teenager on speed.

Aside from my productive accomplishments, the last few days have been full of work- yet enjoyable. On Wednesday I had the morning off and woke up @ the crack of dawn as though I was working. However the house keeping gods had been kind to me, givng me a morning off. I ran around town a bit, and then borrowed my friend Joanies push bike. I hadn't riden a bike since I was probably 15 or something, so that was fun. I drove to the mall got three dates, and 12 Salted cashews. Did a bunch of boring errands, and then drove my sweet ass to Town Beach (my old home @ the caravan park). It was a little funny walking by it too, because I saw where the van used to be and the place is so empty now. The only tent I recognized was my crazy ex-neighbor named Diane. She was one of those people that was just so miserable with life, and decided to winge on everyone to compensate for something lacking there of. What that is I may never know, but what I do know is that she didn't care for me, and the feeling was mutual. She got mad once because Iwas doing yoga @ 7:45 @ night quietly. She was saying to shut the hell up, and stop moving around os much....pffttt.....My constant hula hooping pobably annoyed her too...oh well though just one less Christmas card to make....

Well ADHD must have caught the better of me...Moving right along.

I was in a sea shell collecting mood, and that is exactly what I did. Town beach was not all so rich in shells, especially the quality......When all of a sudden I stumbled upon an angelic haven of shells by all the rocks. I ended up hanging out there for a while, and met some little girls. They were sisters aged 4, and 7. They were quite cute, real proud of the shells they had collected. The even helped me, and we donated some to eachothers collection. It was quite darling, I made a "special" bag, and promised I'll make a special piece of jewellery with them (I'm not lying too, thier nice shells).

Anyways that was the highlight of my nice morning off...It doens't sound like much but it actually was a lot of fun. I love having time off to myself. I proclaim them Chrissy Date days and do whatever makes me happy. Climbing trees, or missioning off for some date and figs, perhaps playing in mud, perhaps making some soup, climbing rocks, making sand castles, drawring, playing on the computer, oh the opportunities are endless..

Oh the places you may go (I love Dr. Suess)<--He was a hip man

Anyways since then it's been work and a heap of it....Between my jobs I typically go online download music that makes me salivate, and then hula hoop after work @ night. Tonight is real loud music @ Oasis too. Oasis is the club that is right behind the roey staff rooms. It's pretty dead there though. I"m looking @ it from the balcony right now. Tomorrow should be fun though, there is burlesque party, with fire dancing and all ooOOOO.....

The day I'm really excited for is Emi's (the sweet japanese house keeper) party on Monday. She's leaving the team and we're going to have a darling ladies night. I still haven't seen the sun set@ cable beach (which is really bad, because it's the number one thing your supposed to do in Broome), have a couple drinks, dress up really silly with sashes/crowns, and aprons....
Then go to Roey-oke. (Kareoke -Roey Styles).....Anyways I'll post some pictures I have to work on my custume @ some point.

Anyways I've babbled enough
Salad after work is better food then beer
Eat your Vegetables

Bye now

Same same but Different.....

That saying makes me smile...My house keeping mate Joanie told me everyone says that in Thailand as a cute way to get you to buy stuff...

Example =

Mystery Buyer: Well hello there I would like to try the Curry Chicken please!!!
Mystery Seller: I'm sorry we do not have Curry chicken...we have Thai Cat though...Same same but different....

Anyways that's something you could perhaps incorporate into your day the possibilities are endless.

So life is absolutely great, I really have nothing to complain about at all (other then my visa is running out slowly and quickly at the same time). I think my ideas for the rest of my time spent in Oz are changing yet again, as they do when you live the hippie wonky back packer life. I have had a great time so far and really think it would be nice to see the rest of the west coast....However on the other hand I'd rather work up until my visa expires in Broome, and take that money to NZ for the year.

I sincerely love Broome...and lately I love it even more because I have made some sweet friends. I love my morning job.....I have been beyond lucky scoring things of use, and indulgence. I scored a really nice back pack that some people gave me, along with not having to really buy much food or alcohol at all.....it's great. The house keeping team is a lot better now that some of the more not so fabulous people have left. We have ice wars, sing songs, and have all sorts of silly shananagans throughout the day. Sometimes I'm really cheesy and we do dumb little pranks. Today I got Joanie to go to Emi (the sweet and innocent Japanese girl) and say in hysterics there was blood and something dead in the closet and then I jumped out and scared her. Not very creative I suppose, I"ll put my thinking cap on over the next 37 hours. However it's these little things that get you through the day with a smile. Joanie is a wicked chick too....We went to the cinema to see Hairspray (which is a fabulous movie)...We had the dancing bug afterwards and did a little twirling in parking lots and such...mmm I drool. Next week is going to be Emis good bye party so we're going to Kareoke and are gonna dress up silly and sing our sweet little hearts out...

With every day passing I grow more excited about New Zealand. I need to apply for my visa tomorrow, so I can book my plane ticket. I'm so stoked I could puke to be honest. I think I may start off in the south island and then do the North after....I will see really..........

Anyways that's a little of my story...
I *heart* Broome
It rules my world

Happy Thursday???

Hello world, Mother land or whoever reads this..........
I've been a little lazy and side tracked lately...Working a hullabaloo of hours, along with cute errands I do throughout my time off....
This week however is a little different. I got one shift @ Subway (due to new people training....noooo...I'm not that bad!!)....So I get heaps of time to play in dirt piles, climb trees, hula, pretend to drive tractors, and collect sea shells by the sea shore .
I have spent a copious amount of money in the past week, however I have no regrets in the slightest for they were all things of substance and loveliness...The first was a new lap top....
My story is not that exciting but I ended up buying a really posh comp off this dude for 500$....It's only three months old, and he hardly used it. It's a Toshiba and it's so lovely...I'm so stoked about it......
The only thing that needs sorting is Windows Vista....
For anyone that is considering getting a new comp, they all come with Vista and it's definitely not one of my favourite things in the world....
Windows vista is a lot like me being at a really nice fancy dinner party with a HUGE over sized ball room gown.. The gown would maybe even be made of some laxex(ish) material so it would squeak when passing by others...Causing controversy and Scandal.....The seams would be a tad sharp....Not sharp enough to cut skin, but when grazed it could cause one to look up and say "how rude, and un called for" .As I would try to dance perhaps the fabric would knock into people...Possibly toppling wine glasses over creating embarrassing situations. Champaign in the face, along with caviar on the groin......When walking through doors it may get stuck and rip a bit....uhh time to put on a new dress I reckon....
If my analogy made any sense then you will understand that Vista was the dumbest thing Microsoft ever did....I still remember when I was a Microsoft Media centre rep and I had to go over the same protocol statement....
"Vista is not ready yet, as Microsoft is revamping the software so it will be the utmost highest quality for the consumer for 2007"
PfFFTttt hahahahah I could puke....
Anyways it's really not that bad I'm exaggerating a little, I just think that the makers may have experimented with some "mari-ja-wanna", and a dash of PCP when they were brainstorming and creating this devilsh program.
To solve my miniscule delema I'm going to talk to everyone till I get a free copy of XP...I"m a resourcefull woman and I"m sure I can do it....Heaps easy I think.....The worst cast scenario is the dude @ the computer shop will do it for me.....I'm stoked to have my lap top ready and grounded for creative ambitions...I think I"ll write a novel or something....I don't know what about...Maybe just stuff??? People like stuff right??? I like stuff....
hmm what else??? My new home is great....I like it.....I still feel like a princess every time I hang something in my wardrobe, or put a new sea shell on my bed side table...OHHH the luxury.....I still like to make good friends with the best hammock outside my room, and hula hoop in my special corner....
A lot of the people are a little cliquey here I think....Because it's all staff accom...So people generally hang out with who they work with.....It's funny though because I'm jut really euphorically happy hanging out by myself most times....I'll climb a tree, write, read, hula, bla bla....It's all so divine really.....This weekend is kinda party party party.....We all get free tickets to this concert on Sat, and then Sunday is a co-workers good-bye party.....So that will be a good time.....
House keeping is still good...Because it's getting a Little quieter, I reckon we're trying to stretch it out our shift a bit so we can still get the same hours....In ways I feel guilty quite often that we take real long breaks, and kinda coast through the day....On the other hand MEH!!! our bosses are real cool and if they had a problem they would say it....
uhmm ahh I don't really have anything else to say except Happy (INSERT DAY HERE)....And have a sweet-azz day....
Bye now
Love:
Chrissy
P.S.
Sometimes I ponder to myself who reads this....To be honest I have no idea....So if you do read this say hello.....or email me or something
I find that sometimes it's easy to get lazy with emails and bla bla....Now that I have a lap top it will be easier....
Did I mention I get free Internet...ye haw!!!
okay I'm done
