Same same but Different.....

That saying makes me smile...My house keeping mate Joanie told me everyone says that in Thailand as a cute way to get you to buy stuff...

Example =

Mystery Buyer: Well hello there I would like to try the Curry Chicken please!!!
Mystery Seller: I'm sorry we do not have Curry chicken...we have Thai Cat though...Same same but different....

Anyways that's something you could perhaps incorporate into your day the possibilities are endless.

So life is absolutely great, I really have nothing to complain about at all (other then my visa is running out slowly and quickly at the same time). I think my ideas for the rest of my time spent in Oz are changing yet again, as they do when you live the hippie wonky back packer life. I have had a great time so far and really think it would be nice to see the rest of the west coast....However on the other hand I'd rather work up until my visa expires in Broome, and take that money to NZ for the year.

I sincerely love Broome...and lately I love it even more because I have made some sweet friends. I love my morning job.....I have been beyond lucky scoring things of use, and indulgence. I scored a really nice back pack that some people gave me, along with not having to really buy much food or alcohol at all.....it's great. The house keeping team is a lot better now that some of the more not so fabulous people have left. We have ice wars, sing songs, and have all sorts of silly shananagans throughout the day. Sometimes I'm really cheesy and we do dumb little pranks. Today I got Joanie to go to Emi (the sweet and innocent Japanese girl) and say in hysterics there was blood and something dead in the closet and then I jumped out and scared her. Not very creative I suppose, I"ll put my thinking cap on over the next 37 hours. However it's these little things that get you through the day with a smile. Joanie is a wicked chick too....We went to the cinema to see Hairspray (which is a fabulous movie)...We had the dancing bug afterwards and did a little twirling in parking lots and such...mmm I drool. Next week is going to be Emis good bye party so we're going to Kareoke and are gonna dress up silly and sing our sweet little hearts out...

With every day passing I grow more excited about New Zealand. I need to apply for my visa tomorrow, so I can book my plane ticket. I'm so stoked I could puke to be honest. I think I may start off in the south island and then do the North after....I will see really..........

Anyways that's a little of my story...
I *heart* Broome
It rules my world

Love:
Chrissy
